1. Image Ownership & Responsibility

Mosaicify Studio does not own, create, or maintain any of the images used in the mosaic generation process. Specifically:

• Main Images: You are responsible for all images you upload as the main image to be recreated as a mosaic. You must have the legal right to use these images.
• Tile Images: You are responsible for ensuring that all images you upload as tiles for mosaic generation are owned by you, licensed to you, or are used in accordance with applicable licensing agreements.
• Example Images: Example collections provided in the tool are sourced from Unsplash, a free stock photo service. These images remain the property of their respective photographers and are licensed under the Unsplash License (see section below).

2. Example Image Licensing

The example image collections provided in Mosaicify Studio are sourced from Unsplash and are made available under the Unsplash License. According to the Unsplash License:

• All images can be downloaded and used for free
• Both commercial and non-commercial purposes are permitted
• No permission is required (though attribution is appreciated)
• Images cannot be sold without significant modification
• Compiling images from Unsplash to replicate a similar or competing service is not permitted

3. No Liability for User Content

• Copyright Infringement: We are not responsible if you upload copyrighted images or create mosaics that violate intellectual property rights.
• Image Quality & Accuracy: The quality and accuracy of the generated mosaic depend on the images you provide and the algorithm's color matching capabilities.
• Data Loss: While we process images locally in your browser, we are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or deletion that may occur.
• Offensive or Harmful Content: We are not responsible for any offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content you create with our tool.
• Commercial Use Issues: If you use generated mosaics commercially, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and licensing agreements.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Mosaicify Studio for any of the following purposes:

• Uploading or generating content that violates intellectual property rights or copyrights
• Creating mosaics with the intent to infringe on trademarks or brand identities
• Generating offensive, hateful, or discriminatory content
• Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the application
• Using the tool for any illegal activities
• Creating spam or automated requests that damage our service
• Compiling our example images to create a competing service

5. Service "As-Is" Disclaimer

Mosaicify Studio is provided on an "AS-IS" basis without any warranties, express or implied. Specifically:

• We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, quality, or suitability of the mosaics generated
• We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities
• We make no warranty regarding compatibility with all browsers, devices, or operating systems
• We make no warranty that generated mosaics will be suitable for printing, commercial use, or any specific purpose

6. Technical Limitations

• Browser Dependent: The quality of mosaics depends on your browser's capabilities and available system memory
• Image Size Limits: Very large images or excessive numbers of tile images may cause performance issues or browser crashes
• Browser Compatibility: The tool works best with modern browsers. Older browsers may not be supported
• Color Accuracy: Color matching is based on RGB Euclidean distance calculations and may not account for perceptual color differences
• Device Memory: The tool processes images in your browser's memory. Insufficient RAM may result in errors or incomplete processing
